We’d love to have you join us at one of our Sunday services! Hopefully the questions and answers below should give a flavour of what to expect but do get in touch if you have any further questions.

What are the times of the services?

We have two services on a Sunday, a morning service which begins at 11am and an evening service which begins at 7pm. Services normally last around an hour and 15 minutes.
Don’t worry if you are early or late arriving as there will be someone to speak to who will assist you.

What should I wear?

Whatever you’re comfortable in.
People wear anything from jeans and t-shirts to jacket and tie.

Can I park?

You can park in the car park directly outside the church.
If the car park is full there is street parking in the surrounding area.

How do I get into the church?

The main entrance to the building, as you look at it from the car park, is through the wooden door.
There is usually a member of the congregation or a deacon on duty at the door to assist and guide you.
There is wheelchair access through this entrance.

Are there facilities for disabled people?

There is wheelchair access through the main entrance. 
We also have a disabled toilet which can be found by turning right after you enter the main doors to the building.

Will I need to bring any books?

All the words for hymns we sing during the service should be on the screen at the front of the church.
You will also be provided with an Order of Service and Notice Sheet on the way in.
We have some Bibles at the Information Desk you can borrow on your way in for use during the service.

Are there any special arrangements for children?

We offer a supervised crèche for children aged 0-3, and a Sunday School for children aged 4-11. Children remain in the service for roughly the first 30 minutes and then head out to their groups. The service leader will announce when it’s time for the children to go to their groups.

For those taking children to crèche we ask that you take them to the crèche room to sign them in, otherwise those going to Sunday School normally meet their leaders at the back of the main hall before going to their respective rooms. If you do wish to accompany your child you are very welcome to do that too.

What happens after the service?

Normally the service concludes with a brief closing prayer, after which tea/coffee and biscuits are served at the back of the main hall. Please do join us for this as we’d love to have the opportunity to get to know you better and answer any further questions you may have.
